Hi, my name is Ben, and I work as an editor in the MyiMaths team.
Can you tell us a bit about how you got to where you are today?
After earning my master’s degree in chemistry and working in research science, I decided to apply my knowledge of maths and technology to the world of education publishing. I joined Oxford University Press in 2017, and as an editor I work on a range of titles for international curricula. It’s an exciting time to be working in educational publishing, with new digital innovations pushing the boundaries of how students can learn and develop their skills. MyiMaths is at the forefront of this digital education revolution - when I think of MyiMaths, I think of high quality, accessible and engaging online maths content. I also grew up using the platform, which informed much of my mathematical ability, and it therefore holds a special place in my heart.
Tell us about your role within the MyiMaths Team?
My role in the team is to uphold the integrity of MyiMaths by fielding any questions, queries or general comments that users of MyiMaths may have. I work closely with other members of the team to provide the improvements that keep MyiMaths on the cutting edge. If you are a teacher or a student that uses MyiMaths, don’t hesitate to send us feedback on firstname.lastname@example.org.
